Two Workers Killed in Nairobi Building Collapse
Two people have been killed and dozens injured after a building collapsed at Stage Mpya Estate in Pipeline, Embakasi in Nairobi on Wednesday afternoon.
The two were among a group of workers demolishing a semi-permanent timber house which then collapsed, burying them in the rubble. Several other people were injured in the incident.
Efforts to search for survivors were led by a team of rescuers from Kenya Red Cross, the National Disaster Management Unit and the police.
